“I first met Magali when looking for a chef/nutritionist that understood the GAPS Diet (Gut and Psychology Syndrome), pioneered by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride. After healing from cancer, I was in the process of halting a post-cancer treatment, designed to avoid recurrence, due to debilitating side effects. In my research, the GAPS Diet seemed to be the starting point from which I could completely begin to utilize nutrition as my healer. But, I really needed guidance.
After talking with a few practitioners in my area, I was happy to meet Magali and knew from our first meeting we had a connection. I immediately felt safe, knowing I would be able to trust her with, not only my health, but my emotions around my cancer journey. As we worked together, my suspicion that food was my health foundation was confirmed. Magali supported me in figuring out which foods were most beneficial for me and which foods I wanted to limit or exclude from my diet. This continues to take time and persistence and Magali’s patience and personalization of my nutritional needs has made all the difference in my health and well-being.
The best part about our collaboration is that Magali has helped align my nutritional focus with my busy family life. I am overjoyed to say I am able to attend a weekend sporting event with my children, well-stocked with my nutritious foods, keeping me satisfied and energetic no matter what the day brings.
In the tree of life, nutrition is the low hanging fruit, always a bounty available at our fingertips. Magali is the perfect guide for receiving what nature has to offer in a tangible, loving way. My gratitude and respect for her knowledge, patience and kindness throughout my journey is eternal.”

“I struggled for years with gut issues. My symptoms created food anxiety and my meal choices were narrowing. I met Magali at her Bone Broth class. She was a wealth of nutrition information and her meals were delicious. I instinctually knew nutrition was the foundation for healing. I had cut out gluten and dairy, yet with so many approaches I didn’t know what next steps to take --Paleo AIP, GAPs, FODMAPS, blood-type, histamines. Western, Eastern, and functional medicine treatments created a lot of noise with medication, supplements and treatments. Magali’s personalized approach allowed me to trial various nutrition approaches that could heal my gut. My partnership with Magali helped me break through the noise and calm my symptoms. My gut has healed to the point where I have freedom with food choices. My nutrition habits have evolved and integrating healthy options into my daily life is easy, thanks to Magali.”

“As a retired office worker, I long ago lost interest in cooking. I became habituated to lazy and unhealthy eating that took me into heart disease and the hospital, twice. I finally had to address the elephant in the room and get ahold of both my stress levels and my nutritional starvation. Realizing I couldn't will myself to change and fearing the rapid decline of my health, I reached for a long time fantasy. I had felt for years that someone cooking for me would bring me to a better state of health and, essentially, add years back on to my life.
Magali and Mia overlook my menu and eating patterns. I make a few decisions about what I like and they provide the balance and healthy choices, as well as the shopping, cooking and cleanup, which was such a deterrent for me. I have slowly taken on making some of the treats, like almond milk and kale chips, but the real work is done by Mia on her periodic visits. When she leaves, I have a full refrigerator and freezer, stocked with enough of my favorite soups and main dishes to last me until she returns in a few weeks.
Magali works with my menu and dietary issues, guiding and supporting me into a more life affirming way of eating, while Mia does the cooking and gives me a cheery day's visit as she works her magic preparing my food.
I believe my recovery would have been much worse without their help. I was so nutritionally starved that I had nothing with which to rebuild my health nor adequate basis to support my complicated medicinal regimen. It was all about reducing intestinal inflammation and malabsorption while eating tasty, enjoyable food made to order in my own kitchen. Mia uses only the best ingredients which I eagerly support and appreciate. These meals are tailored to my needs of low salt, low dairy and carbs, and high quality meats and vegetables.
I have kept using the service throughout the pandemic and it has allowed me to remain less exposed and yet well supplied. I see my relationship with these two outstanding young ladies going well into the future. I sincerely hope that anyone who has the ability to honor themselves with the very best in life will check out their talented services.

“I did the cleanse for my wedding. Hands down the BEST CLEANSE I have ever done. I’m telling everyone about it. Soups and broths were fantastically delicious and I wasn’t hungry once. Being able to stick with my bulletproof coffee in the morning and have such a substantial dinner was THE perfect combination. I’ll be back soon for another.

“My experience was great - I'm not a big "cleanse" guy, but I stuck with it and dropped slightly more than 10 lbs in the 5 days, along with coffee, alcohol and a lot of pain in my neck and back. I've already recommended you to a few friends (all the mom's at my kids' school heard "dropped 10 lbs in 5 days" and clamored for your info."
